How to Style Summer Trends for Autumn​

We know autumn is on the horizon, but there’s no need to let your summer haul of little white dresses, linen sets and maxi hemlines go to waste. You already have some of the most hardworking pieces in your wardrobe to segue into autumn (maybe not flip-flops, unless that’s your kind of thing), so all you need is a little direction. Here’s how to make sure your favourite sunshine staples follow you into pumpkin spiced latte season.


Linencore


One of the biggest trends of the summer. Linen featured in pretty much all of the -cores: tomato, coastal, cottage, quiet luxury… You name it. Although revered for its lightweight breathability, linen shirts can definitely be taken through to autumn and beyond. we’d swap the shorts co-ord for a pair of tailored trousers. Rosettes


We called it pretty early: rosettes are everywhere right now, but not just for the summer. It’s the new vintage-inspired signature for going out this autumn (we think Bella Hadid would agree). Swap floaty blouses and summer maxis for statement tops and grey straight-leg jeans – throw on a blazer for cool September nights.

Summer Sequins = Autumn Sparkle


Sequins for holiday nights out. Sequins for garden parties. Sequins for…well. Everything. Traditionally a festive-related finish, transforming this trend for autumn won’t be too difficult. The secret is denim. Temper sparkly silhouettes with denim jackets, and pair embellished tops with relaxed straight jeans for a Y2K look we won’t be giving up any time soon.

We’ve made no secret of our summer romance with maxi skirts of every kind: denim, slip, pencil…we’ve been busy.
