Looks Are Served With @indiamoon

This spring we're inviting you to take a seat at our table, where looks and laughter are served side by side. It's the simple things in life that make us happy, and we’re *so* ready to reconnect with old, new or soon-to-be friends. Any reason to celebrate, we'll take it.

This week we’re dining with our friend @indiamoon...

What do you love most about the city you live in?

I love Brighton, because you have everything in one place, the best of everything. The sea, the town, the countryside! It’s so fun and vibrant and there is always a lovely vibe whenever you go.

What does food represent to you?

I’m a huge foodie, so food for me is just happiness! I love how different foods can connect us to others in so many ways, whether it’s culturally or just connecting with loved ones over food too.

What’s your favourite meal?

Such a hard one as I love so many foods, my favourite meal right now would be French toast, berries , Berry compote & cream!

Food can say a lot about someone, what does it say about you?

I guess my favourite food says that I have a big sweet tooth, I love anything with berries, and it links to me being a huge breakfast lover as it’s my favourite thing is being able to start the day on a high happy note.

Name your top three restaurants where you live?

Top three restaurants in Brighton would have to be Riddle & Fins, The Ivy and Food For Friends. There are so many amazing ones to choose from.

Can you describe your city and its relationship with food?

Brighton has lots vibrant fun amazing food spots; they do the best of it all and The Lanes are my fave spots for finding the hidden gems too.

If you had to choose: brunch, lunch, dinner or cocktails?

Brunch. I’m definitely a brunch kind of girl - I would choose brunch styled meals for every time of day if I could. Best food of the day I think, as  you’ve got everything from sweet pancakes to a full English and they are just so good.

Do you have any favourite memories growing up that revolve around food?

I went to a nursery growing up that did daily meal changes focused around different countries,  so each day there was a different cuisine which I loved, I remember the flavours. And of course, I can’t forget the classic school dinner plain sponge and custard growing up that I sometimes still crave.

If you could choose any other city to live in because of its cuisine, what would it be?

Would have to be Paris, the food there is always divine.
