Looks Are Served With @lois_la_mode

This spring we're inviting you to take a seat at our table, where looks and laughter are served side by side. It's the simple things in life that make us happy, and we’re *so* ready to reconnect with old, new or soon-to-be friends. Any reason to celebrate, we'll take it.

This week we’re dining with our friend @lois_la_mode.

What do you love most about the city you live in?

Bristol has always had the perfect mix of city and countryside, artistic & creative.

What does food represent to you?

Personal time, social time & excitement.

What’s your favourite meal?

Lasagne, I adore cheese and pasta, they're some of my fave foods. I feel like you can never really go wrong with lasagne, It's always a safe option on the menu – it's a great family size dish to make at home too.

Food can say a lot about someone, what does it say about you?

You  know what to expect, it's not a fussy dish & it's a winner for most people.

Name your top 3 restaurants where you live?

The Ivy, Clifton, Klosterhaus house, Pasture ...there are so many amazing ones to choose from.

Can you describe your city and its relationship with food?

Bristol is a very 'arty' city, full of creatives and is very picturesque, full of independent shops, restaurants and bars. It's really cool discovering new places to eat and new things to do, I've lived here for nearly 8 years and I'm still discovering new things to do. Eateries in Bristol are a huge attraction for the city; not only are there several restaurants to eat, there are also a lot of street food options, you'll always find somewhere cool to eat.

If you had to choose: brunch, lunch, dinner or cocktails?

I am totally a lunch girl, it's the perfect time to eat what you want, never too late to order from the lunch menu or too early for the dinner menu. I prefer eating big meals, and would rather have a large lunch.

Do you have any favourite memories growing up that revolve around food?

I come from a large immediate family, my sisters & I would play 'ready, steady, cook' and be creative with our food.

If you could choose any other city to live in for the cuisine, which one would it be?

Parisian food has my heart.
