Where: Portugal

How long: 10 days

Itinerary: Beach days, old town exploring

This summer, my husband (!!!) and I are visiting Lagos in Portugal for our honeymoon. As a newlywed, it's my last chance to dress like a bride so you can bet that I'm going to make the most of it. Unsurprisingly, my suitcase is filled to the brim with all-white pieces (so original). My favourite: the rosette bikini. I can't wait to wear it as a set to the beach, but also have a vision of pairing the top with white wide leg trousers for an evening-ready look. For days exploring Old Town, I can't wait to wear the breezy maxi dress with *all* the raffia accessories.

Where: Brighton

How long: Day trip

Itinerary: Visiting friends, live music.

Usually I'm an "options" girl (yes, I'll take 20 pairs of socks on a four day trip), but I'll only have a ludicrously capacious backpack to work with here, as I’m going for the day. I plan on relaxing in town  popping to the beach and mooching down The Lanes. I’m taking a really easy midi dress and chunky trainers (I need height for the gig later on, and they’ll keep me comfy all day). That’s what the easy bumbag is for, so I can just reach for my essentials (gold hoops) and leave my bigger bag in my room. If it somehow gets cold at night, I’ll take a sweatshirt. Then next day I’ll travel back in cargos and a sleeveless tee - all here for the ‘00s revival. Pretty easy.

Where: Hawaii

How long: One week

Itinerary: Dinner, beach days, going *out-out*

This April my friend and I visited Hawaii for an unforgettable girl’s holiday. This could be a one and only time to visit to Hawaii, so I wanted to go all out with my swimwear, cover ups and evening outfits. I filled my suitcase with anything bright and colourful or bold statement white pieces. My favourite cover up is the white lace over size shirt, this paired with the lime swim costume was a perfect beach or pool outfit. The pink floral print maxi dress was my evening favourite. This was perfect paired with the dream setting of dinner on the beach.

Where: Amsterdam

How long: Four days

Itinerary: Cycling, market strolling, sightseeing

I'm planning a city break to Amsterdam at the end of August, and while I'm hoping it will be warm, I'll be packing outfits that can see me through potentially changeable weather. When I go on holiday, I'm the annoying person who wants to be on the go and doing things all day long: so whatever I take with me has to be comfortable enough to wear for 50,000 steps worth of exploring.

On my to-do list so far: cycling around the Vondelpark, vintage shopping in De Pijp, taking a trip to the Rijksmuseum and maybe getting a boat around the canals if I'm feeling touristy. I'm also keen to go to Foodhallen, a street food market just outside the centre.

I'll be packing a graphic tee, to wear with a linen maxi if it's boiling, or with a denim maxi and a biker jacket if it's not quite so warm. For something I can wear day to night with minimal changing time, I'll take a pair of straight leg jeans and a bandeau top. I'll throw a shirt on over the top for daytime, and swap to heels (maybe clogs, it's Amsterdam after all) for any evening plans.
