We LOVED Ibiza! It just had everything we wanted for a family holiday, the beaches are amazing, lots of beach bars and cool places to hang out. The hotels have lots of offer for different budgets, and was very kid friendly. The vibe of the island was very chilled, we had a brilliant time!

Whitstable is amazing for families as the beach is split into long sections by the groynes, which means families can each camp up against a groyne and have a place with shade. The beach is also shingle. Everyone loves a sandy beach, but they can be a nightmare with kids getting sand everywhere! There are also so many day trips to be had at hip nearby neighbourhoods in Ramsgate, Folkestone, Margate and Broadstairs!

Ostuni in Puglia, Italy, has to be top of my list for a kid-friendly holiday. The perfect mixture of sun, culture, beaches and incredible food.

I’d recommend anyone to stay in a self-catering Trullo (a traditional stone-built house). Apart from being completely beautiful, my daughter had the best time playing in the pool and picking fruit from the trees. Ostuni has a wonderful child-friendly night life too and, because it’s Italy, the best pizza, pasta and gelato (name a better kid menu!).
