All Decked Out

This is a great one for making their bedrooms extra festive. Just cut out a Christmas tree shape from some cardboard and let them decorate it however they like. Stickers, mini tinsel and pens are all great for decking out their tree and for making minimal mess. If you’re feeling brave, bring out the glitter and paint.

Edible Snow(men)

A bag of marshmallows will always command a room but turning those marshmallows into snowmen? You’ve created a solid 30 minutes of calm for yourself, plus their afternoon snack. You will need: 1 x bag of giant marshmallows, 1 x bag of mini marshmallows, wooden skewers and an edible marker pen.

Just A Little Something

Everyone loves a homemade Christmas gift and nothing is more adorable than something created with finger painting. Ask your little ones who they want to make something for and what they want to say. Print this out (or help them write it for a more personal touch) and then decorate it with a string of finger-painted baubles.

Hello Santa

These Father Christmas masks are a great stand-in while they wait for the big man himself. Plus, they’ll make Christmas Day memories that much cuter. Cut Santa’s hat out of white cardboard and the top section out of a paper plate for your kids’ eyes and then leave them to stick cotton wool balls for Santa’s beard and paint his famous hat red.
