REX

What are your top three ways to keep Rex safe on Bonfire Night?

1. Make sure he has had a good walk beforehand to tire him out in hope that he will sleep through the noise!

2. Put loud music on or turn the TV up to distract him.

3. Get all his toys out, making him feel as relaxed as possible with his favourite ones.

OLIVE

What are three things you do to prepare your dog for Bonfire Night?

1. We put calming music (Classic FM is a good one!) on in the background to create a chilled and relaxed atmosphere.

2. We put peanut butter in her KONG toy which can take her hours to get out and keeps her occupied.

3. Using mine or my boyfriends' clothing as a blanket if she's anxious as she finds this reassuring and comforting.

LEXI

How do you keep your dog calm on Bonfire Night ?

I give Lexi a long-lasting chew to keep her distracted whilst the fireworks are going off, which are also masked by the radio being on.

OAKLEY

What would be your top tip to help keep your dog calm on Bonfire Night?

Oakley is terrified, he shakes with fear. I give him lots of cuddles and we cosy up together on the sofa with the windows and curtains closed. I also turn up the volume on the TV in the hope that he won't notice!
