What to Wear from Christmas Eve to Boxing Day
Our advent calendars are filled with chocolates, and our actual calendars are filled with parties. This can only mean one thing: December is here. It's the last hoorah of 2023 and we can't wait to get stuck into all things festive. Although the big three (aka, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day) still feel a million miles away, make sure you don't find yourself in a "What do I wear!?" panic and read on to discover what we'll be wearing for 72 hours of festive fun, food and family time.
Christmas Eve
Are you the kind of family that likes to start the celebrations early? If so, this one's for you. Make your Christmas feel double as long and dress to the nines on Christmas Eve. This shift style dress makes for a comfortable option once you've spent the evening at the cheeseboard (no tight waistbands here), whilst the sparkling trim adds a dose of festivity. Finish your look with heels, even if you only wear them for the annual family picture.
Christmas Day
This outfit has "romcom" written all over it, which makes it the perfect Christmas day outfit. With its red plaid print, sparkling threads and embellished buttons, we can almost picture Cameron Diaz swanning around the countryside in this cardigan. Simply add a pair of relaxed jeans (very important) and sling back heels to style your way through the most wonderful day of the year. Pass the gravy, please.
Boxing Day
Or what we like to call: "the first day of the Crimbo Limbo" (aka, that sacred time in-between Christmas and NYE where all your days blur into one). For some, this day is reserved for PJs, Christmas movies and making their way through leftovers but for others, this is Christmas Round Two (or three?) at the in-law's. If you're one of the latter, you're going to need an outfit that says "No, I'm not hungover". Enter: this head-to-toe cream outfit. It exudes a put-together vibe, even if you feel nothing of the sort.
